"An afternoon in Tokyo, lying on the grass with friends from around the world"—welcome to the Green Picnic & International Exchange Lunch at Shinjuku Gyoen. Beyond the skyline of high-rises lies a wide lawn dappled with sunlight through the leaves. Spread out a picnic sheet, share some light bites and drinks, and conversation flows naturally from a simple introduction. English and Japanese mix easily in the relaxed air. Even without confidence in the language, laughter speaks first. Rather than sightseeing, spend time with the people who live in and travel through this city. These are usually the moments that stay with you long after a trip. **Light snacks and drinks included. Feel free to bring your favorite dish to share.**
