One phone. One night. And your travel photos become art.
Omoide Yokocho, in Nishi-Shinjuku, is a Showa-era alleyway where time seems to have stood still since the postwar black markets — yakitori smoke turning the air white, red lanterns bleeding into wet cobblestones, someone's laughter bursting out just beyond a passage so narrow your shoulders nearly brush the walls. This is one of Tokyo's great treasures for anyone who can't stop pressing the shutter.
On this tour, you'll walk through Omoide Yokocho and the surrounding streets alongside a professional street photographer, shooting as you go. Learn, hands-on and in the moment, how to frame a shot, read the light, and catch a fleeting instant amid the crowd — the real techniques of street snapshooting.
Meet at West Exit. Optimal camera/phone settings.
Shoot Memory Lane in sunset light. Composition & light coaching.
Lanterns lit at twilight. Neon & red lantern techniques.
Cheers at a Yakitori stall. Review photos together.
Photos delivered via email within 3 days.
