Matsuri — How to delete your account and personal data

Last Updated: October 3, 2026

You can delete your Matsuri account (operated by Jon&Coo) and the personal data linked to it — including information received through Facebook Login — in any of the following ways.

1. Delete in the app or on the website

Matsuri iOS app

  1. Open “My Page” at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Open “Settings”.
  3. Tap “Delete Account” at the very bottom.
  4. If you registered with an email address and password, enter your password under “Confirm your password” (if you sign in with Apple, Google or Facebook, leave it blank).
  5. Tap “Delete my account”, then tap “Delete my account” again on the “Delete account?” prompt.

Website (matsuri.group)

  1. Sign in to matsuri.group and open Account Settings.
  2. Open the “Security” tab.
  3. Under “Danger Zone” → “Delete Account”, click “Delete”.
  4. Type “delete” in the confirmation field. If you registered with an email address and password, also enter your “Current Password”.
  5. Click “Delete Account”.

Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, saved items, tickets, order history, and any MTC or MLC balance. Transactions already recorded on the blockchain cannot be deleted and will remain as anonymous records.

Transaction records that we are legally required to keep are retained for the periods set out in Section 9 of our Privacy Policy and then deleted.

2. Ask us to delete it

If you cannot sign in to the app or the website, send us a request titled “Account deletion request” through our contact form, including the email address you registered with and your name. You can also email office@jonandcoo.org. We will verify your identity and respond, as a rule, within 30 days.

3. Remove the Facebook connection

If you used Facebook Login, you can remove Matsuri from your Facebook settings.

  1. In Facebook, open “Settings & privacy” → “Settings”.
  2. Open “Apps and websites”.
  3. Select “Matsuri” and choose “Remove”.

On a computer you can go there directly at facebook.com/settings?tab=applications. Menu names may change as Facebook updates its app.

Once the connection is removed, Matsuri can no longer receive information from Facebook. Information we have already received and stored (such as your name, email address and profile picture URL) remains until you delete your account using method 1 or 2 above.
